Founded in 2020, Mékr Studio is a boutique-sized interior design studio based in Melbourne. Kristiina and Michelle, long-time friends turned business partners, collaborate seamlessly, bringing their shared vision to life with harmony, efficiency and a bit of humour.
Michelle Evans
With over 15 years industry experience Michelle Evans has carved out a varied and extensive set of skills as an Interior Designer.
With a proven ability to lead multiple projects concurrently, Michelle brings extensive experience across residential, retail, and commercial projects. She is deeply passionate about conceptualising distinctive spaces and possesses a sharp eye for detail. Her approach emphasizes building strong, personal client relationships, complemented by a refined talent for interpreting and translating their vision into unique, tailored spaces.
Before partnering with Kristiina in 2020, Michelle worked with leading design practices; Doherty Lynch - under the guidance of Mardi Doherty and Fiona Lynch, and was then enlisted as Associate Designer at Doherty Design Studio (now rebranded as Studio Doherty) under the lead of Mardi Doherty.
Kristiina Reeve
Kristiina Reeve has over 17 years experience in residential, hotel and commercial interior design. Her passion for design has led to work on a portfolio of multi-disciplinary projects throughout Australia. Her approach to design is dynamic and collaborative, resulting in spaces that are purposeful and highly personal.
Before partnering with Michelle in 2020, Kristiina worked with leading design practices; Doherty Lynch - under the guidance of Mardi Doherty and Fiona Lynch, before moving to Mim Design Studio working as Design Associate under the lead of Miriam Fanning for 7 years.
